The interview day :
♥ Reached USM just in time, not really lawr (7.30 am babe! Wasn’t that t0o early?) Yeax. We were listed acc0rding t0 0ur IC number. 90022707xxxx. Since I was b0rn 0n 27th, s0 I was the 10th. OMG!! Radin?? I’d never thought that this STARIAN will be in the same group with me. Panel 3..Definitely because we have the same IC num…
♥ The kerani suddenly informed that I’ll be the 6th. In the 2nd group. “Sape datang duluw, dia akan mas0x duluw.” Mana aci!! Haha nevermind…I can go home early maaa….Made some friends and generally being nice, I mean you don't want people to suddenly ambush you in THE ROOM.
♥ Had a lil chat with a Ge0rgian, a CGian , and the twins (nampak cam duplicate jew) then mana tau suddenly, this Chinese lady probably in her 50's with this super sized J.LO hat, looking like those typical datin came up to me and started to introduce herself and she started to interrogate me, all these questions .. WTH! Ahhhh….. “What school are you from? How was your results? What are you applying f0r? Owh.. Japan is g0od u kn0w… s0, why are u taking JPA not MARA? Which university w0uld you like t0 attend? Owh.. so u’d applied f0r the PETRONAS using your f0recasts result… S0, h0w was it?” This and that…….. like a machine gun! N0N-STOP acti0ns…! I literally had an interview before THE REAL INTERVIEW!
♥ Naah.. it was actually a g0od way t0 reduce my nerv0us… waiting, waiting…and waiting…..
♥ Alahai…tensi0nxxx….we were divided int0 5 pe0ple per gr0up.
♥ Then, the kerani called us. “0kay number 6,7,8,9,10.. t0l0ng naek atas.”

(Panel 3 room- Indah Kembara Hall)
♥ We were then asked to rearrange our copied documents in an accurate arrangement before handing them to the kerani there.
♥ Waiting and waiting again f0r the 1st gr0up…..Wutta? After they came 0ut from the r0om..it was the time f0r us. Haha they t0ld us ab0ut their t0pic “Handphones: a necessity 0r luxury?”.
♥ Yup. Quite easy~ hehh =p! Few moments after that, we were called to enter the interview room.
♥ There, you will be sitting in a curve position and all of you will be facing the panels, especially for the 3rd applicants. (Lucky me! I was the 1st! Haha just wanted the attenti0ns from the panels and it was a benefit because I c0uld start first!) There were only two panels in that particular room, one of them will be inquiring us questions (y0ung Malay guy) while the another one (young Malay lady) will be examining on our files. – actually we didn’t know their names - Don’t ever forget to greet the panels before sitting down [I suggest you guys to ask the permission to sit down, these shows that you are a polite person].
♥ Our p0siti0ns :
num. 6 : me =p (engineering, Japan)
num. 7 : Radin (engineering, Japan)
num. 8 : Mrs K0h’s s0n (actuarial science)
num. 9 : Chinese girl (medicine)
num 10: Chinese boy (business administration)
♥ “Okay silakan duduk. 1st sekali kami ucapkan tahniah kepada anda semua kerana berjaya dipilih untuk menghadiri temuduga JPA serta tahniah juga di atas pencapaian anda yang cemerlang dalam peperiksaan SPM.”
♥ Haha I smiled. Smiled. And smiled. Both of the interviewers were really friendly. They made jokes and started to laugh. Serious. Maybe they wanted to make us comfy.
♥ Right after that, one of the panels will ask each and everyone of us to introduce about ourselves. Ow yeax! It was n0t bad right… “okay, kita mulakan dengan yang disebelah kanan sekali. Silakan…” according to our turn…
♥ Oh g0sh! It was me.. *nervous!* ..Assalamualaikum.. nama saya Fatin Farhanah…bla..bla..bla….mendapat pendidikan di SM Sains Tun Syed Sheh Shahabudin… bla.. bla… bla… Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) ...bla…bla..bla…haha I think there was a HINT for me.. the lady seemed to agree with me “Kirenye…kalau pegy Jepun nanti, x sesat lawr?” haha just nodded my head and smiled. Ya. The other interviewer also agreed with my point and he always smiled. All the time. Huhh relieved…!
♥ *actually it was about 2 minutes*
♥ You know, they even realized that Radin and I went to the same Japanese speech contest. Teliti glew dowg check sijil2 tuw sume.. They then asked “so, sape yg menang?” owkay2 he won this time.“Banyak perkara menarik yang dapat kita kongsi bersama kamu semua di sini. Okay kita akan mulakan dengan sesi kedua, iaitu sesi perbincangan dalam English.” Then the person who was busy examining our files took a list of questions. “Soalan ape yew yang saya nak bagi kat kamu ney?” haha guess what…
♥ “Owkay, this is the question. Please listen carefully.. WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOUR FAMILY OR YOUR FRIENDS? I repeat... WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU, YOUR FAMILY OR YOUR FRIENDS? I give you 5 minutes to think about your answers without discussions among yourself and without writing on any notes. You may start now…”
♥ Huhu the room became silence. All of us started to korek ideas and points. Thanks to Allah. I thought we’ll be asked about facts…selamat….
♥ My heart was pounding faster. Waa rasa cam nak terkeluar jantung..punye lawr nervous..I saw that the interviewers started to look at the clock on the wall..
♥ Erm it was almost 2 minutes…Since the others remained quiet.. I took the initiative and voiced out. I raised my hand. “Assalamualaikum and a very good morning…” Their eyes suddenly directed to me. Naah nervous dowh..but I just smiled and said “May I proceed…if all of u don’t mind?” “yes it’s okay, you may proceed”
♥ “In my opinion, I’ll definitely say that my family……bla….bla…bla….(konfiden jew! Haha blasah!) bla…bla..bla… Then Mrs Koh’s son supported my idea…he then.. ...bla…bla…bla…
♥ The interviewers also gave chances for others to speak. I don’t want to dominate the discussion or argue about others since our forum was an ok-ok. I just elaborated their ideas and gave my own opinion. Sorry guys…I never meant that friends are not important. The interviewers agreed with mine and I think I was enough about that. Sometimes, we have to tipu-tipu a bit to defend our ideas. Lastly, we have to give a conclusion about the topic.
♥ The lady (interviewer) then said “I really love your performances. All of you have made this topic as a good discussion and participation among yourselves.” Haha finally I’m relieved! “okay before that would you like to ask any questions?” She also asked that if anybody is currently doing A-Level or not..
♥ The end..yuhuuu… “All right, you may go home now..” I became the first to salam with the interviewer. (the lady only lawr, haiyoo) waa…bodekk kuat haa…no lawr. Actually, it is a way to respect the elders. Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita.
♥ Before we left, the lady mentioned that she has a sister who lives in Yokohama. Okay “SAYOUNARA”…
♥ Took back our clear holder from the kerani’s table and gave back the num 6 tag. Rushed for my parents downstairs..but suddenly,..haishh..Mrs Koh stopped me..and asked this and that…huhu layan jew lawr…she even asked for my phone number.
♥ It was an enjoyable experience to be interviewed by the friendly JPA’S. This is easier than the educamp...Haha I hope that I’ll secure the scholarship because I’ve done my best to bwat cun, bwat muke x malu, and bwat ta0 ( tips from Kak Yani, Yana and Syamin. Hehe) . But what am I afraid of is the fact that there will be only 2000 ppl will get it out of 7278. Really a tough competition and I could say that it is almost 95% of the applicants in Penang are Chinese.
♥ May Allah bless me. Really hope so.
